Head Downtown Walnut Creek for an evening of merriment featuring merchant open houses, extended shopping hours, sips & savors, caroling, live music, Ugly Sweater contest, Santa’s Workshop, tree decorating, plus carriage rides. Once Upon a Christmas, Hofmann Theatre, Walnut Creek, 12/6 & 12/7, 11 am & 2 pm, & 7 pm. 
A delightful narrated holiday ballet, which allows audience members of all ages to pass across the threshold of make-believe into a world where dreams can and do come true by learning to first believe in oneself. More info and purchase tickets here!

Tree Lighting Festivities, Todos Santos Plaza, Concord, 12/7, 4 pm-7 pm.

Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Celebration, Main Street, Downtown Pleasanton, 12/ 7, 5 pm- 7:30 pm

Everything is merry and bright along Main Street in Pleasanton when the annual Holiday Parade featuring seasonal-themed floats, marching bands, community groups and more heads down Main Street bringing holiday cheer to all. Following the parade, gather over at the Museum on Main (603 Main Street) for the Tree Lighting Ceremony (around 6:45 p.m.) where Mayor Jerry Thorne will light the tree. Guests will enjoy musical entertainment and an appearance by the man with the bag!

Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade, First Street, Livermore, 12/ 7, 6 pm.
More info: here! Watch as Downtown Livermore turns into a Winter Wonderland when 50 holiday-inspired floats take over First Street in Livermore. The parade culminates when Santa arrives from the North Pole just in time to help light the tree.

Home for the Holidays, Downtown Livermore, 12/7, 11 pm-4 pm.
Lizzie fountain will be transformed into a winter fun zone for children 5th Grade and under. This is a FREE event! Entertainment will inspire you to stroll through the Downtown enjoying the beginning of the Holiday Season. European Model Train Exhibit, Blackhawk Plaza, Blackhawk, All Weekend, 10 am-5 pm.
Visitors will marvel at the selection of locomotives, freight and passenger cars from various European countries as well as detailed scale versions of European landscapes including mountains, villages, bridges, farms, lakes, and industries which come alive when the trains travel through the layout. Down in the big construction site, Bulldozer, Excavator, Cement Mixer, Dump Truck and Crane Truck are giving their all to build a big new home for the fire trucks before Christmas. Will they make it? Livermore’s Wine Trolly’s Lights of Livermore Holiday Show, December-7, 8, 5:30 pm & 7 pm. 
Join Concannon Vineyard and the Livermore Wine Trolley for a Holiday experience of lights, bites, and flights throughout the month of December!
