The Best Coffee Shops in Danville

Coffee shops danville ca

Going out doesn’t have to include a “destination”. A date or a day out with friends can be as simple as getting a coffee somewhere and then roaming around the town, having a nice walk while you catch up. The walking part is easy, but where should you go for the coffee? Don’t worry, we’ve done our homework and here’s the lowdown – these are some of the best coffee places in Danville! Remember to follow us on social media @danvillesocial, for daily updates and photos of the hot spots in town!

Sideboard
If you are looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch to go with your coffee in a cozy location, stop at Sideboard! They also have outdoor seating. They have a relaxing water feature and is kid-friendly!

Bagel Street Cafe
This isn’t just a bagel and coffee spot, but they offer a great breakfast and pastries as well! This is a popular spot to meet with friends and catch up! They also have an outdoor area!

Vally Medlens
Located at 330 Hartz Ave, Danville. This place doesn’t need to advertise or market! This local favorite diner will not disappoint! Get there early, this place fills up fast on weekends! They have one of the best biscuits and gravy! Call for more info (925) 552-6449. It’s open Monday-Sunday, 7 AM-2 PM.

Tal’s Pasterrie
Looking for a cozy, quaint spot with delicious sweet bites? You will love this spot if you like those small, quiet(unless you sit outside) spots. Once you walk in, you will feel like you are back in time.

Medleno Coffee Shop & Roastery
You know the movie scene where a girl hops into a coffee place and it’s quiet and cozy and she has a nice time drinking coffee while making some important decisions? Medleno’s is that kind of place. It feels less like a shop and more like a mix between a bar and a ‘movie coffee place’. They roast their own coffee and have some incredible varieties. They make the coffee with love, and you feel it when you drink it. Dramatic, maybe, but true nonetheless.

The Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop is a neat little place. It feels modern and restaurant-ish, so if you want to be near people and have some coffee while you chat (or observe), this one’s a good bet. They open pretty early in the morning (7 AM-ish), so you can head out for a morning coffee sometime. They have a pleasant atmosphere, wonderful coffee, and comfy seats. They also have WiFi, so you can check your emails and such. Good for hanging out in, but ideal for a morning coffee.

Le Petit Corner
The name of this place means “the little corner” in French – which, we think, is very apt. It’s not a ‘corner’ per se – in that it’s not tiny or cramped. But it has the cozy, ‘little corner’ vibe that you’d get from a French café in a catalog. Their prices can be a bit high, so they’re probably not ideal as a regular spot, but if you want to hang out with some friends while sipping some delicious coffee, this is the place for you.

Café Meyers
Café Meyers is a breakfast and lunch place open from 7 AM to 3 PM. They’re located on Camino Tassajara, and their waffles and French toast are fantastic. We haven’t had a chance to sample much of their lunch menu (yet), but we’ve heard some great things about their Turkey Berry and Veggie Burgers. Their menu is available online, so take a peek sometime. They have outdoor seating options with nice little umbrellas, and we always love sitting there when it’s sunny outside.

Faz Bakery and Coffee Bar
Okay, so it goes without saying that all the places on this list sell great coffee. But for Faz, we need to mention that especially. Their coffee is unbeatable – we’ve yet to find anyone who dislikes it, and we’d be rather shocked if we did. If (when) you go to Faz, make sure to try out some of their desserts as well. If you’re supposed to avoid sweet foods, their eggplant lasagna is delicious! Visit their website for timings and other info.

We hope you liked this list! Stay tuned for more such posts, and to find out the best (of everything!) in Danville CA.
