Go Girls! Oakland + Black Joy Parade

Calling Every Go Girl! and family: Let’s walk in the Black Joy Parade together.

Event Summary: The Black Joy Parade is hyper-positive, family-friendly event that exists to provide the Black community and allies a live experience that celebrates our influence on cultures past, present and future. We will unite a diverse community by creating a space to express each of our unique contributions to the Black experience. We invite you to be creative, be open, be present, be free.

The assembly area for Black Joy Parade 2020 is located on 14th Street from Webster St to Alice St.

The parade begins at 12:30 sharp and will kick off at 14th St and Webster St. All contingents will be out of the assembly area no later than 1:15 pm. The parade will end approximately between 2:00 pm and 2:15 pm. The route is
on 14th St from Webster St. to Broadway St., and then Broadway St. between 14th St and 20th St.
