A Celebration of All Things Food!

Ever wanted to be a zookeeper? Curious about what elephants eat? Do you want to go inside a zoo habitat?! The Zoo opens early, giving guests the opportunity to spread food for select zoo animals.

Due to high demand, we are now offering three different food spreads: Elephant All-You-Can-Eat, Baboon Brunch, and Sun Bear Buffet!

‍Pre-registration is required. Check back in late June to see how you can enter to win the opportunity to participate in one of these spreads!

Guests are given the opportunity to place food around the animals habitat before the animals go out for the day. Place produce throughout for the elephants, hide seeds for the baboons, or spread snacks for the sun bears.

Restrictions: No one under of the age of 2 is allowed on habitat due to safety concerns of uneven terrain. Guests 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult to attend.

No strollers are allowed and the animal habitats are not wheelchair accessible. Please note that the habitats contain uneven terrain and moderate inclines in places.

Please note that in the event of rain or mud, keepers will place food in animal habitats or spreads may be cancelled – no rain checks given.

Guests are allowed to enter to win up to 6 spaces for a spread. Guests can only participate in one spread since food spreads take place concurrently and do not allow for guests to participate in multiple food spreads.

Breakfast burritos, pastries, and coffee available for purchase at Tusker’s Cafe.

Visitors are also encouraged to donate fresh produce to help feed the animals and will be thanked for their donation with a free kid’s ride ticket.
