Garden d’Lights, Bancroft Garden, Walnut Creek, 5:30 pm-9 pm.
Using a specially programmed laser, spot and LED lights, the illuminated Garden comes alive at night, creating magical colorful sculptures from its many cacti, succulents, and trees. Wander the meandering paths and discover the Garden in a whole new light. To purchase tickets, click here!

Holidays on the Farm, Ice Skating, Snow Tubing, & Country Store, Lathrop, All Weekend! 10 am-9 pm.

East Bay Regional Parks are FREE the last Friday of the Year, 12/27/19 Only!
Park entrance and fees for the day-use parking, swimming, dogs, horse trailers, boat launching, and fishing permits will be waived for the day! Please read the detailed information here!

European Model Train Exhibit, Blackhawk Plaza, Blackhawk, 10 am-5 pm.
Visitors will marvel at the selection of locomotives, freight and passenger cars from various European countries as well as detailed scale versions of European landscapes including mountains, villages, bridges, farms, lakes, and industries which come alive when the trains travel through the layout. Art Lab For Kids: Make Your Own Emoji, Apple, Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek, 1:15 pm-2:15 pm.
Spread the joy by creating your own seasonal emoji. Kids will draw colorful faces and objects using the Procreate app on an iPad with Apple Pencil. Then they’ll learn how to combine emoji to create fun messages they can send to friends and loved ones. Devices will be provided. You must register for this event here!
