Fallfest, Danville, 10/19 & 10/20
Stop by our Scents by the Bay booth at the this year’s 2019 Danville Fallfest held on Saturday and Sunday October 19 & 20 from 10AM to 5PM in Danville’s historic downtown! Brought to you by the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, this event is in its 28th year. Fallfest keeps with the season with family-friendly, safe, special events and entertainment. Be sure and catch the annual Children’s Costume Parade on Hartz Avenue at 10AM on Saturday. There may be no better time in downtown Danville than in the fall and admission is always FREE! Don’t miss the car show on Sunday, 10/20! Don’t miss this fun event!! Lots of delicious food, music, and drinks!

Shred Day at Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, Walnut Creek, 10/19
Out with the old, in with the new! ARF is pleased to offer Shred Day on Saturday, October 19 from 10 am-noon at ARF in Walnut Creek. Bring your old papers to be securely shredded for $5 per box. For your convenience, boxes can be dropped off starting at 9:30AM and will be shredded between 10Am-12PM. More information here!

Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, Half Moon Bay, 10/19 & 10/20

Teen Rock Band Showcase, San Ramon, 10/19

Cars and Coffee, Livermore, 10/19
Cars and Coffee Livermore is a car meet by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. This car meet takes place every 3rd Saturday of each month from April to November from 8:30AM-11:30AM. The event is a FREE event open to all, space allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

AR Workshop: Plank Workshop, Danville, 10/19
Head over to AR Workshop, from 5PM-8PM for a DIY class to make one of our many Wood Projects, featuring our Plank Projects! Choose from a Plank Wood Sign, Lazy Susan or Round Sign, Plank Wood Tray, Wood Photo Frame, or Pedestal Tray. Halloween Scavenger Hunt, Pleasanton, 10/19
Calling all little ghouls, witches, princesses and superheroes to downtown Pleasanton.  The annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt will take place on Saturday, October 19th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. while supplies last. Oktoberfest, Walnut Creek, 10/19
Join us in the Biergarten or on the dance floor for another epic Oktoberfest in Walnut Creek. It’s a great place to show off your dirndl dress or don the lederhosen (not mandatory!). This ADMISSION FREE, day-long, family-friendly event recreates the beloved German fall celebration. Oktoberfest will include live entertainment, music, dancing, arts & crafts, Biergarten with dozens of craft beers, wine, international music, Kinder Platz Kids Zone, gourmet food booths and over 40 vendors. Western Railway Pumpkin Patch Festival, Suisun, 10/19 & 10/20
At the Pumpkin Patch, you can purchase your pumpkins, as well as snacks, drinks and other homemade specialties. There are plenty of activities at the pumpkin patch such as tractor rides, field maze, pumpkin chucking, petting zoo, pony rides and the giant hay bale fortress! All proceeds benefit the Western Railway Museum (a nonprofit educational institution) and the local Rotary Clubs who provide thousands of dollars to local community and youth activities each year. Iron Horse Mother’s Club Fall Festival, Danville, 10/19
Come out and enjoy the celebration with your family! Iron Horse Mother’s Club( a 501C3 non-profit club for moms and families) invites you to celebrate Fall with a fun family filled day! Bounce houses, petting zoo, train rides, an infant play area, and so much more! Admission is $10 for IHMC families and $15 for non-member families. Growl-O-Ween, Walnut Creek, 10/19
Growl-o-ween at the Ruth Bancroft Garden is the ultimate Halloween PAW-ty for dogs and their human friends! Dress your dog up and come down for some fun with your favorite four-legged friends at the Garden. Costume contests treats for tricks, decorated “selfie spots” and more! From 10AM-1PM, located at Ruth Bancroft Garden, 1552 Bancroft Rd., Walnut Creek. Kids and adults are encouraged to dress up!

Public Astronomy Program on Mt. Diablo, Walnut Creek, 10/19
Please join the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society for its October 19 astronomy program. This month’s topic is Our Place In Our Galaxy. See the center of our galaxy. Tour our galaxy through the telescopes. The program starts at 6 p.m. at the lower summit parking lot of Mt. Diablo State Park (enter the park at least 45 minutes earlier). Although there is no fee for this program, there is a park entrance fee. Click here to register! From 6PM-11PM.

USC EB Trojans Football Game Watch Party: USC vs. Arizona at Stadium Pub, Walnut Creek, 10/19
The USC Alumni Club of the East Bay invites Alumni, Parents, Family, and Friends to a game watch party in Walnut Creek for the USC-ARIZONA football game. Kick-Off is at 6:30PM. The room will be available at 6PM and families are welcome! More information here!
