Top 6 Places for a Family Night in (or near) Danville CA

Family Fun in Danville Ca

Looking for some good family-friendly entertainment? Or perhaps somewhere you can leave your kids to have fun while you relax and scroll through social media? The Danville area has plenty of both kinds. Here’s a list of entertainment and food options for kids that are currently available at great discounts.

Family Friendly Restaurants

Garlex Pizza is a pizzeria with absolutely incredible pizzas, and they’re offering 20% cash back through Groupon. You can make your own pizza too! Some others in Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill offering 20% off (on Groupon) are 1515 Restaurant and Lounge, Zalla Kabob House, Slow Hand BBQ, and Oishi Sushi & Grill.

Montecatini Ristorante is offering 35% off – yum, yum! Some others have larger discounts, but they’re a little farther away.

John’s Incredible Pizza Company

Located a short drive away from Danville, the place offers an unlimited buffet, drinks, rides, and video games. Fantastic for children, and overall great family entertainment at a very reasonable price.

Usually, tickets cost $75, but for a limited period, they’re available on Groupon for $25. For this price, you’ll get an all-you-can-eat buffet pass, unlimited drinks, and two hours of rides and games for one person. It’ll keep your kids happy for a couple days, at least.

PS – Their pizza really is incredible! So cheesy you’ll feel you’re in Italian heaven.

Children’s Motor Skills Classes

Valid for children aged 4-8 years old, these motor classes will help your children develop physical and academic skills important for school – all while having fun. Kids in that age range are tricky to find entertainment for, and this is a great option since it’s both educational and fun.

Tickets are available on Groupon at $45 for three 50-minute classes.

Go Bowling

Both the Castro Village Bowl and the Manor Bowl are offering fantastic discounts on bowling passes – you get passes for two people (two games, including shoe rental) for $13.50, and two games for four people, same terms, for $26.

Of the two, Castro Village Bowl is a bit closer, but if you want a less crowded place the Manor Bowl is usually a better idea. Both are enjoyable for kids and adults alike!

Rockin’ Jump – Trampoline Fun

It’s roughly 9 miles away from Danville, and it’s ideal for kids who like lots of physical activity. The place has trampolines with basketball hoops, dodgeball and other sports that kids will absolutely love.

Plus they’ve got a neat discount going on at the moment, so you can get two 60-minute jump passes for $23 instead of the usual $34. Mind that the pass isn’t valid on Saturdays – just from Sunday to Friday. Grab an hour of quality time with your partner while your kids enjoy themselves.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not, San Francisco

It’s a little far – 22 miles from Danville – but it promises hours of fun and learning. It’s not just for kids either – don’t be surprised if you find yourself very thoroughly enjoying the place! It’s a science museum of sorts, or an ‘odditorium’, as they like to call it.

Passes are available for two people for $30 after 5 PM, or for one child between 4-12 years for $15.87 (any time). Check out their website for more info – it’s a very interesting place!

Stay tuned for more great deals, and to find out the best (of every kind!) in Danville CA
