National Margarita Day 2019
As if we needed another reason to drink margaritas, on a Friday. That’s right folks, #NationalMargaritaDay is today February 22nd and we can’t be more excited to share some great places to enjoy a festive drink with friends and loved ones. So here goes our list of local places to celebrate this day.
El Nido
Located at the entrance of Downtown Danville, El Nido offers a rooftop dining experience and with all this rain now over and sun out it’s a great place to grab a margarita! They are offering $5 house margaritas and $8 Patron margaritas ALL DAY.
Prickly Pear Cantina
A Blackhawk favorite place to grab good Mexican food with a view and of course, margaritas. Their Prickly Pear Margarita is one of our favorites, but the real deal is their Cadillac Margarita – a definite must try!
Luna Loca
This place is offering happy hour pricing on all margaritas all day when you mention “Danville Social” – Yes, that’s every margarita on Luna Loca’s menu!
Maria Maria
A West Danville favorite, Maria Maria has a wide selection of tequillas and margaritas to choose from.
Cocina Hermanas
The new kid on the Downtown Danville block, Cocina Hermanas offers hand-crafted margaritas. Happy hour starts at 3pm so make sure to get there early!
Can’t make it out to celebrate National Margarita Day? Here’s an easy to make margarita recipe from the folks at El Nido that you can make at home.
La Soltera
- Start with fresh cut, fresh squeezed limes
- Add a shot of pure, organic agave nectar
- Generously add our best Resposada Tequilla
- Add a small scoop of ice
- Shake gently, pour immediately
