Independence Day is nearly here, and the Danville area has several exciting events you can go to – whether it’s for live music, yummy food, a fun parade, or watching the fireworks at night. Stay updated @danvillesocial on Instagram!

4th of July Celebration, Danville Livery
On July 3rd, the Danville Livery is starting off the celebrations early! 12-3 pm, let’s get the party started! Kickoff the July 4th holiday weekend off at Danville Livery. Pick up a to-go order from one of the eateries at The Livery and enjoy lunch in the parking lot with live music (bring your own chair!) and outdoor games. Visit the Customer Service booth from 12-3 pm, show your VIP Card, and grab a free t-shirt to proudly wear stylish Danville swag. Don’t have a VIP Card? Pick one up and reap the rewards. Axe throwing with game features soft foam axes with a velcro target. Serious fun and competition for both kids and adults. Come see for yourself as Pinot Palette helps your young ones create a kid-sized red and blue notebook to record fun summer memories. Enter the raffle to win various valuable prizes. Our band, David Martin Party House, will be the honorary emcee and announce the winners at 2 pm (must be present).

Freedom Cruise Parade, Downtown Danville
Unfortunately, the Danville 4th of July Parade was canceled this year, but there will be a Freedom Cruise Parade this year! Participants meet at San Ramon Valley High School at 8:30 am. This is a family-friendly event and there will be an after-party from 10 am-1 pm, 538 SRV Blvd and there will be live music, food, drinks, a magician, balloon twister, and Danville Snap photo-booth! This is a FREE event and spectators can line the sidewalks of Hartz Avenue and Front St. Questions? Contact: [email protected]

Hazy BBQ, Danville
Enjoy a mimosa, bloody mary, or special firework jello shots & watch the cruise parade on the patio! Special hours are 9 am-4 pm. Receive a FREE donut from Great Donuts with a purchase of a drink. Smoking up their loaded sausage sandwiches, lots of hot dogs for the kiddos, and the full BBQ menu is available!

Primo’s, Danville
Watch the Freedom Cruise from the patio and enjoy Brunch! Food and drinks starting at 7 am.

Six Flags, Vallejo
July 3-4, start your summer with the best fireworks show in North California. Enjoy heart-pounding thrills rides like the BATMAN: The Ride or the SkyScreamer, and meet some of our amazing animals up close at Odin’s Temple of the Tiger and the Shark Experience. There will be live music too! Plus, celebrate the red, white, and blue with a selfie at the Coca-Cola Photo Wall and receive discounted tickets and more only at the Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

Kick N’ Mule, Danville
Live music and drinks will be flowing all day! Watch the Freedom Cruise from the patio!

The Growler Pub, Danville
Opens at 9 am-2 pm on July 4th and they will have brunch and drink specials! They also have a dog-friendly patio!

4th of July Concert at the Park, Civic Park, Walnut Creek
The Walnut Creek Concert Band will begin at 6 PM. Bring your friends and family for a picnic in the park, while enjoying the FREE music.

4th of July Sundae Funday Party, Retro Junkie, Walnut Creek
House DJ’s in the beer garden, 1 pm-8 pm, Club Vibes DJ, 3 pm-8 pm. Drink Special’s, Local Craft Beers, and a Grillaz Gone Wild Food Truck, so bring your appetite! With Games in the Beer Garden! Corn Hole, Jumbo Connect 4, Golf Corn Hole, Jumbo Jenga. This is a FREE event!

Broadway Club, Walnut Creek
On July 3, from 9 pm-1:20 am, DJ Joe Maz is known throughout clubs & DJs all around the world. Joe Maz has now been credited with official remixes for Adele, Coldplay, Beyonce, Kanye West & Major Lazer… and has also reached the top 20 Billboard Dance Chart with his own singles this is a General Admission first come first serve event with just 8 limited VIP tables and 3 VIP couch sections available. 4th of July Fireworks Celebration, Concord Pavillion
Gates will open at 7 pm and the fireworks display will begin in dark. They are requiring the purchase of a general admission ticket.

Firework Display, College Park High School, Pleasant Hill
View the fireworks from your home or find a vantage spot near College Park High School. No gatherings will be allowed to view on the College Park High School campus. The fireworks display begins at 9:15 pm.

FLEXA 4th of July Fun, Berkeley 
Not sure what to occupy your kiddos with this long weekend? Let’s help you kick off the 4th of July with some festivities! Flexa will be hosting a range of fun crafts, as well as some refreshing popsicles. Come on out! Make sure to book your slot! Masks and physical distancing will be enforced to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable! Each session is restricted to 20 kids.

4th of July Cruise, Berkeley
Celebrate Independence Day this year on the Bay. Take in our beautiful bay and bridges, while you spend time with friends on the water. Choose from a bay cruise, evening loop, or get into position for a Fireworks Display. Cash bar available and feel free to bring your own snacks/sandwiches. Tickets are $40.

Fleetwood Mask Concert, San Ramon
The San Ramon 4th of July  2021 Celebration Concert will be featuring Fleetwood Mask,
one of the best Fleetwood Mac tribute bands playing all of your favorite songs. The evening will begin with patriotic music from Olympia Fields and a tribute to our Veterans. Fleetwood Mask is dedicated to being the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band! Fleetwood Mask is a Fleetwood Mac tribute band from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band formed out of mutual love and respect for Fleetwood Mac’s music and story. Additional Parking Available at Iron Horse Middle School. There will be NO fireworks.

The 4th of July Parade & Celebration, Downtown Orinda
On July 4th there are events for every age group starting with the annual Pancake Breakfast, flag-raising ceremony, fun run, parade, live music, food, games, and booths in the park following the parade. Everyone is invited to participate in the planning, sponsor a booth or event, participate in the parade, host a booth in the park, or just come and enjoy the events!
