To prepare for this potential threat the Danville Police Department is taking several actions. We are in constant communication with our Town Council and Town Staff to make sure we have all available information and to provide them with the information we have. We are increasing staffing and patrols, monitoring social media and other intelligence sources, and coordinating with local law enforcement so that we can react rapidly to evolving threats. The most important thing to know is that we hold the safety our Danville community as our highest priority, and will take all precautions possible to maintain the safety of our residents and businesses.”
