Labor Day Weekend Happenings

There are a lot of ways to celebrate the end of Summer! Here’s our list of things to do this long weekend! Let’s not forget to honor all of the hard workers out there! Make sure to check out all of the Labor Day Sales going on at the Broadway Plaza, here.

 

Relics on Railroad, Danville
September 5 from 9 am -3 pm, the parking lot behind the Museum of the San Ramon Valley at 205 Railroad in Danville will transform into a marketplace of upscale recyclers and makers offering a wide variety of unique items. Joining them will be some old favorites from the past years of Relics on Railroad. Also, new this year will be sellers offering quilts, cottage trunks, vintage clothing, and old train sets. If you are getting ready for Halloween, take a look at some of the unique handmade holiday decor. This year at Relics on Railroad. An event not to be missed.

Meenar Music Club, Danville
Located in Downtown Danville, Meenar always has the best bands playing on weekends! New bands will be rolling out each month!

Retro Junkie, Walnut Creek
Sunday Funday for Labor Day Weekend at Retro Junkie! September 4, 2022. House music will be playing outdoors and throwbacks will be playing indoors.

Live Music & Bring Your Own Picnic, Retzlaff Vineyards, Livermore
Matt Finders and Friends – Some of the finest jazz on the west coast! 2 seatings, Please make your online reservations. Walk-ins only as space permits. 12pm-4:30pm. No vendor for food will be on site. Feel free to bring your own food.

Scottish Festival, Pleasanton
The 156th consecutive Scottish Highland Gathering and Games takes place at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton on September 3 & 4.  This outdoor-only event features Scottish country and Irish dancing, Celtic heritage stage, folk singers, heavy athletics, gathering of the clans, highland dancing, living history, piping and drumming, ceremonies, Scottish food, and goods vendors, and whisky tasting!

Labor Day Afternoon Sail, San Francisco
Board the Schooner Freda B in downtown Sausalito and cruise around iconic parts of the Bay. Sights often include Alcatraz, Angel Island, the Marin Headlands, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, and the San Francisco Skyline, all from a special vantage.

 San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, SF
