Labor Day Weekend Happenings

There are a lot of ways to celebrate the end of Summer! Here’s our list of things to do this long weekend! Let’s not forget to honor all of the hard workers out there! Make sure to check out all of the Labor Day Sales going on!

2021 Kiwanis Danville Parade, Danville
The Kiwanis-Danville Parade will take place on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 from 9 am-12 pm. This year’s parade theme is Honoring Our Healthcare Workers to pay thanks to the countless professionals who dedicated their lives to serving others during the COVID-19 pandemic. The parade starts at the north end of town near San Ramon Valley High School and travels south along Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Blvd. for about one mile, ending at Sycamore Valley Rd. The parade can be seen from either side of the street and there is always plenty of room for everyone! Sidewalk space is available for bring-your-own-seating on a first-come, first-served basis after 6 pm, on Friday, September 3rd. Unattended seating positioned along the route prior to 6 pm, is subject to removal by the Town.
Watch The Parade From A Patio:
Pete’s Brass Rail- Reserve your spot on the patio for the Parade! Join from 8 am-9 am and you will have a front patio table reserved for you and your group, included you will enjoy access to an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet followed by an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. They will serve 2 different beers on draft for all-you-can-drink on the patio and house wine! Serve yourself.  $75 per person, contact Dave Homer, call or text! 925-528-9302.
Hazy BBQ Bar opens at 8 am, BBQ Brunch starts at 9 am. This is a great spot to watch the parade! First come, first serve- no Reservations Required!

Relics on Railroad, Danville
On September 6 from 9 am -3 pm, the parking lot behind the Museum of the San Ramon Valley at 205 Railroad in Danville will transform into a marketplace of upscale recyclers and makers offering a wide variety of unique items. Joining them will be some old favorites from the past years of Relics on Railroad. Also, new this year will be sellers offering quilts, cottage trunks, vintage clothing, and old train sets. If you are getting ready for Halloween, take a look at some of the unique handmade holiday decor. This year at Relics on Railroad, The Cottage Jewel will launch its 22-year anniversary sale. An event not to be missed.

Meenar Music Club, Danville
Located in Downtown Danville, Meenar always has the best bands playing on weekends! New bands will be rolling out each month!

Row For A Cause, Row House Pleasanton
On 9/4/21, at 12 pm, Row House will be hosting Row For A Cause and be giving back. A donation of $25 is required for class registration. All proceeds are directed to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Foundation. To register: Call 925-400-9520 or Register Here.

Scottish Festival, Pleasanton
The 155th consecutive Scottish Highland Gathering and Games takes place at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. This outdoor-only event features Scottish country and Irish dancing, Celtic heritage stage, folk singers, heavy athletics, gathering of the clans, highland dancing, living history, piping and drumming, ceremonies, Scottish food, and goods vendors, and whisky tasting!

Labor Day Yacht Party, San Francisco
Celebrate Labor Day Weekend in San Francisco with a party experience on the water aboard the San Francisco Spirit Yacht. Sail through the San Francisco Bay with some of the most vivid views of Treasure Island, Alcatraz, The Bay Bridge, Nob Hill, the Golden Gate Bridge, the magnificent San Francisco Skyline! This is a 21+Event!

Labor Day on USS Hornet, Alameda
Have one last summer get-together! Join the USS Hornet for fun, sun, food, beverages, and live music on the flight deck on September 6, from 10 am-5 pm.
