Happy National Beer Day! April 7th
Today, April 7th, 2019 is National Beer Day! We’ve created a list of the BEST spots to have a cold one!
Here’s a quick history about why today is National Beer Day;
86 years ago, a new federal law went into effect allowing the sale of beer containing less than 3.2% alcohol, the first legal alcohol allowed since Prohibition began in 1919.
Thank President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who signed the legislation, The Cullen-Harrison Act, in March 1933, which went into effect a month later. Enough states approved the 21st Amendment later that year to bring an end to Prohibition.
Now get out and celebrate April 7th, National Beer Day at any of these spots!

Blackhawk Grille
East Danville’s go-to-spot for drinks also has great beers on tap. The weather is great today so the patio is ideal for sipping beers while enjoying the break from the rain.

A local favorite also known for having Pliny the Elder on tap!
Roundtable Pizza (Alamo)
Not your typical Roundtable, this one in Alamo has a huge selection of craft beers and if you have lil ones, there’s an arcade to keep them busy.
