Color Me Mine, Walnut Creek
Join us for the fun KNO on Friday, October 2 from 4 pm-6 pm! Paint Frightfully Beautiful Ceramics! Masks are required. No food or drinks. A great place where kids make friends, create, and hang out! This is a drop-off program for kids 5 and up. Very limited seats!

Retro Junkie Food Trucks & Beer Garden, Walnut Creek
Enjoy craft beer and signature cocktails, along with food trucks at Retro Junkie! On Fridays & Saturdays, from 4 pm-11 pm. From 4 pm-7 pm, they have happy hour(1/2 price all well & drafts). On Sundays, they have football playing on their outdoor 14 ft. LED Screen, along with brunch.

Virtual Telescope Viewings, Chabot Space & Science Center
Join astronomers from Chabot Space & Science Center on Facebook Live every Saturday evening! Ask questions and make observations as Chabot’s astronomers guide us through our spectacular night sky. This program will continue every Saturday night until the Center reopens for general admission in June.

Westwind Drive-in, Concord
Get out of the house and head over to the drive-in! Make sure to check out the website for a list of movies playing. This is a great way to get the kids out and experience watching a movie from the comfort of your own car!

Danville Harvest, Danville
Every month They are going to be switching off with a specialty flight to add to their usual list of whiskey flights. The Single barrel flight will be priced at $28 and will be 4 different whiskeys as pictured on Instagram! The single barrel can best be described as whiskey derived from a single source which makes the taste profile vary from barrel to barrel this makes for a very unique tasting experience!

Now-November 30th, enjoy the beautiful fall weather as you take a leisurely stroll through Danville in search of festive scarecrows

Monster Bash, Danville
Monster Bash is a free mobile event where we will bring family-friendly music and ghostly dancing to your requested block.  Limited space is available for this event. October 30th, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on your block
Cost is Free! How to register: acooper@danville.ca.gov Once your block is registered, you will receive a timeframe of when the Monster Bash will be on your block. For more information, please call (925) 314-3459.

Pete’s Brass Rail, Danville
We know the challenges of social distancing in 2020, so Pete has a solution – come join us for a day of fun, October 31st… all day long, anyone who comes in costume (especially the kiddies) gets a candy treat after finishing a meal. And after 6 pm, any grown-up who arrives in costume gets $2 off their beers. Enjoy a safe day of Halloween food and libation!

Player’s Pub & Pianos is having a Halloween Party on Halloween, from 8:30 pm-2 am and YOU are invited! Costumes are encouraged! There will be a costume contest & dueling pianos with Dave & Travis. $300 in CASH PRIZES!

Pressed Juicery Halloween Special, 200 Railroad Ave., Danville

Alamo Virtual Cemetery Program, Museum of the San Ramon Valley
Take a virtual tour of the Alamo Cemetery on October 22 at 11:30 AM. This little jewel is tucked away at the bend of El Portal just off Danville Blvd on the border of Alamo and Danville. You may have passed it on your way to Hap Magee Park without giving it a second thought. It’s actually a peaceful resting place to stroll through and admire the headstones of many pioneer families in a park-like atmosphere. Hear stories of the history of the Alamo Cemetery and families such as Baldwin, Stone, Wood, and, Bollinger to mention just a few. Register here.

Home & Yard Decorating Contest, Danville
A Danville local Realtor, Jamie Roberts is hosting a Home & Yard Decorating Contest! The first 50 entries will have a $5 donation made on their behalf to the Food Bank of Contra Costa. October Pop Up Market, 100 Hartz Avenue, Danville
On October 24, from 2 pm-7 pm, there will be local vendors, live music, games with prizes, and lots of spooky fun! Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Please remember to wear your mask for The location is at Flower Theory, Danville.

Joan’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch, Livermore
Open from October 3-31st, 10 am-6 pm, closed on Mondays. Make sure to bring cash and plan to get dirty, especially if you wear sandals.

G&S Farms, Brentwood
They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays! Some activities they have are; pumpkin cannon, off-the-vine pumpkin u-pick, corn maze, Hocus Pocus Movie Night, and a costume parade!

Shadelands Ranch Pumpkin Patch, 2660 Ygnacio Valley Rd., Walnut Creek
This is a very charming pumpkin patch that has a small petting zoo and a few rides! It is a great spot to go grab your pumpkin and let your kids run around after distance learning.

Farmer John’s, Half Moon Bay
Open daily, from 9 am-5 pm, you won’t be disappointed with the drive! Located just off of Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay, Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm offers a fun, family atmosphere in a relaxing country setting where everyone is welcome, including your dogs!

Windmill Farms, San Ramon
Not only do they have pumpkins, but local grown fruits & vegetables, pasta, fruit pies, & more! They also have a petting zoo!

Virtual Ghost Walk, Museum on Main, Pleasanton
See ghosts of Pleasanton’s past in this uniquely spooky annual event held by Museum on Main.  This year, our popular guided walking tour is moving to Zoom! Two ghosts host will be live on Zoom to guide your virtual tour of downtown Pleasanton’s most haunted locations. Ghosts will visit participants’ screens and share more of their site’s history and hauntings!  This family-friendly tour, held for over thirteen years, is a staple of the Halloween season and we can’t wait to bring it to you in the comfort of your home!

Spooktacular Drive-Thru Carnival, Danville
You must register through the Town of Danville for this event. It is currently full, but a waitlist is available.
