May The 4th Be With You, Downtown Danville

On May the 4th, the Town of Danville is celebrating all things Star Wars!

Costume Contest– For those with Star Wars Halloween costumes, or who just like to sport their inner Jedi, sign-up for the Costume Contest at the Village Theatre for the chance to win prizes. *Sign-ups end by 4:45 p.m. on 5/4/19. The contest runs from 5:30PM-6:30PM. Costumes are strongly encouraged at all activities throughout the day.
For those that don’t have a Star Wars costume, but would like to celebrate, May the 4th Be With You t-shirts will be on sale for $10 per shirt at the Danville Community Center, 420 Front St.

Pancake Breakfast with a Jedi- Join in on this Jedi fun, breakfast and a little entertainment. (Children 2 and under are free).
All Ages Welcome! Starts at 8:15AM & 9:30AM. Location is at The Danville Community Center, 420 Front St. Danville. $5 per family member! Purchase Tickets Here!

Scavenger Hunt- Stop by the Danville Community Center to pick up a free scavenger hunt card and start looking for famous Star Wars characters at participating Downtown Danville businesses. The first 100 participants to complete the hunt will receive prizes from a galaxy far, far away!  Located at: Danville Community Center, 420 Front St. FREE! 11AM-5PM.

Jedi Training – Young padawans will have the opportunity to learn the ways of the Force on the Danville Town Green. Cost is $5 per child and there are two sessions to choose from. Visit www.danville.ca.gov/recguide to register. *Pre-registration is required to participate. From, 3PM – 5PM.

Cantina Crawl – After mastering the ways of the Force, new Jedi Masters need to eat and celebrate. Local Danville businesses are joining in on the fun by offering Star Wars themed food and drink. Stop by the Danville Community Center or the Village Theatre to pick up a list of participating businesses.
