Roni Cazin is a wife and mother to 19-year old twins, Dylan and Jack and 13-year old, Luke. On July 31, 2017, after a mild illness and initial testing, they were told to take Dylan directly to the Pediatric Oncology Unit in Oakland. The next day, a lumbar puncture and bone marrow biopsy were performed, and revealed their worst nightmare – Dylan had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The treatment plan was 3.5 LONG years. His immune system has still not fully recovered, but overall, he is doing well. Although Dylan was unable to attend school for the last 2 years, he was determined to not let his illness prevent him from graduating and on May 31st, graduated from MVHS. Roni and her husband Rich have been immersed in taking care of their family. Roni has worked hard to keep her house running smoothly and keep her immune compromised son safe and as healthy as possible. Roni is extremely honored and humbled to be chosen as a recipient. She says, “Words cannot express how thankful I am for your kindness and generosity. I look forward to paying it forward someday.”

$30 includes dinner, tax, tip & non-alcoholic drink (CASH OR CC). A portion of each dinner ticket will be donated back to the recipient, Roni Cazin, thanks to Rodney and Natalie Worth.
