The Brass Door in San Ramon is an upscale establishment offering American steakhouse classics, plus sandwiches, pasta & a full bar. This place has some serious history! Started back in 1955 as the 8/5 Club by Howard “Shorty” Schlesinger in 1946, it was renamed by his son Mick and a local dairyman, Dick Basso.
